Composing material palettes in the sun for a renovation project on the Tāwharanui Peninsula. Our clients have embraced the quirks of their existing lockwood bach, and our approach has been to select strong, playful colours and textures that can stand up to the scale and character of the classic timber-lined interior.

We're lucky enough on some projects to create special pieces for the spaces we design. In our Matapouri Road home we designed a custom dining table from tōtara gifted by the client's brother. A nod to the dining table around which the brothers gathered as children.
