The clients’ brief was for us to design a home that allowed them to live alongside their grown children, while still creating subtle separation and privacy.

We designed a separate two-bedroom flat that sits above the entrance and garage on the street side.
At the rear, the main living areas on the ground floor open to a swimming pool, with the main bedroom above capturing city and harbour views. We were interested in using the actions of folding and wrapping to both enclose and open up spaces in this inner-city home.
